We had Brian's 1st birthday party last night at my parent's house. It was a lot of fun and lots of people came to celebrate with us. Brian was asleep when the party started, and then probably had no idea what was going on, but it was still fun. We had a potato and salad bar and then brownie sundaes. My sister Lisa made Brian the coolest dragon cake! All the kids loved it, except Brian. Like the cupcake on his birthday, he didn't want anything to do with the cake. I'm sure he'll think differently about cake and frosting next year, but this year he didn't like it. We also had a rocket pinata that the other kids loved, but it scared Brian when Ben helped him hit it. Again, next year he should have a better time. Thanks to everyone who came and for the presents to Brian!

That cake is AMAZING! how awesome!!! I am always envious of the patience and talent it takes to make beautiful cakes! I can't believe he doesn't like cake! Jack devoured his! haha. But b-days are always more fun when they are older...I just love 1st b-days though bc they are not greedy for the presents and they are still so sweet and it is so easy! haha. Cute post, Sar! He is a cutie!
