Christmas in San Diego
We had a great time down in San Diego with my side of the family for Christmas. We started going on a trip instead of buying a bunch of presents last year when we went to Hawaii, so decided to keep that tradition going this year. We each played Santa and bought stocking stuffers for each other so we had something to open on Christmas morning. It was nice to get out of the snow storm Seattle got over Christmas and in warmer weather by the beach. We were able to go to the Wild Animal Park, which is like an African Safari where you get to see animals in their "natural" habitat. We were able to go there with some of my California relatives who come down to spend a few days with us and it was so fun to see them! We also went to Six Flags Magic Mountain and went on some amazing roller coasters! It was freezing that day and we ended up having to wait in line for 2 and 1/2 hours for the last roller coaster, but it was the best on of the day, the X2! On the last day in San Diego we went to Sea World, which was also fun and I loved getting to see the Orca whales. We also toured some old tall ships and a submarine in downtown San Diego. Overall it was a fun trip, and Ben even got to drive a convertible. (The picture he took of it turned out blurry, but my mom got some pictures of it, so it's documented) :o) Here's a bunch of pictures of the trip- hopefully I can get blogger to work and get them in the order that I want them in. Enjoy!
